An Afternoon in Powell River – Prolotherapy, PRP & Canine Nutrition
The afternoon on Saturday March 28, 2015 proved to be an exciting one for Dr. Marlene and myself in Powell River. We had been invited to speak to a group of people on the topics of Prolotherapy & Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Canine Nutrition.
Dr. Marlene’s presentation on Canine Nutrition was fun, interesting and intriguing. She presented the physiology of digestion in dogs and cats with clarity and simplicity and yet made it a lively discussion.
My presentation on Prolotherapy and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) was well-received. I was amazed to find many in the audience were already aware of Prolotherapy and some had direct experience in receiving these treatments. They were a very receptive and knowledgeable audience and their full participation and engagement was much appreciated.
I would like to extend a big thank you to Linda for all the hard work that went into organizing this event. Thanks for the coffee and snacks as well and the use of your beautiful rec room. Thank you Maria as well for your involvement in making sure this was well-attended.
Please contact Phoenix Rising Veterinary Care if any of you wish to arrange such presentations for an audience of over 40. I am honoured to be sharing my knowledge of integrative veterinary medicine so more people are aware of the options that are available for their pets.
