What is Animal Chiropractic?

chiropractic, Phoenix Rising Integrative Vet CareChiropractic is a method of healthcare that is drug-free and deals with restoring proper function of the joints of the spine and limbs. The spinal vertebrae have several larger and smaller parts.
Slight sub-luxations can result in pain and compromise the spinal component.

This can lead to chronic pain, arthritis and reduced use and function of the limbs and joints. With a subtle and gentle hands-on technique, proper function can be restored and pain can be relieved.

Performing a chiropractic adjustment restores normal movement, relaxes muscle spasms and decreases pain.

  • If your dog has spondylosis or back pain

How many treatments will my dog need?

Generally adjustments can be done 2-3 weeks apart. Sports dogs and geriatric dogs benefit from a monthly “tune-up”.
